Imperial Trellis Velvet renders a lattice in cut pile, the geometry crisp but softened by the way velvet absorbs and reflects light across its surface. The trellis sits on a flatter ground so the pattern has depth and movement, the repeat large enough to read as architecture rather than ornament.
Woven in Italy from 73 per cent cotton and 27 per cent viscose, it is 140 centimetres wide with a 27-centimetre vertical repeat and a 14-centimetre horizontal repeat. Dry cleaning is recommended. It suits curtains, blinds, cushions and upholstery, and the design is also available as printed linen, sheer and wallcovering in four colourways.
