In Dreams is a stylised cloud pattern drawn from a chinoiserie document, screen-printed by hand onto Haruki Sisal so that the weave of the grasscloth shows through the saturated colour. Designer Cristina Buckley has simplified the motif to a medium scale that reads clearly without dominating, and the combination of rich pigment and natural texture gives the design both presence and restraint.
Made in the United States, it is 86 centimetres wide with a repeat of 79 centimetres vertically and 86 centimetres horizontally, sold by the metre from rolls of 7.312 metres. The surface is spongeable. It is also available as a fabric, and comes in three colourways.
