Schumacher | Indah Batik

Indah Batik is a small-scale design inspired by Indonesian resist-dye, with fine stripes and dots that layer comfortably with other patterns. The motif is understated and the repeat tight, so it reads as texture as much as pattern.

Printed in Italy on pure linen, it is 140 centimetres wide with a vertical repeat of 24 centimetres. Dry cleaning is recommended. The fabric suits curtains, blinds, cushions and upholstery, and its modest scale makes it useful for smaller pieces and as a foil to bolder designs.
