Ivins Embroidery is a tonal interlocking pattern worked at small scale across the full ground, the geometry calling to mind fine marquetry inlay. The embroidery brings texture and a quiet sheen to the surface, the detail reading close-to but the overall effect calm and cohesive from a distance.
Made in India from a blend of cotton, viscose and polyester, it is 127 centimetres wide with a modest repeat of three centimetres vertically and two horizontally. Dry cleaning is recommended. The cloth suits upholstery and cushions, where the embroidered surface adds depth without pattern competing for attention.
