Schumacher | Jafri Pillow

Jafri is a hand-embroidered cushion inspired by the carved wooden screens of traditional South Punjab architecture. The geometric motif is worked in a hooked-needle technique called aar, which builds a three-dimensional texture across the surface. The design is made in collaboration with women artisans in Pakistan, and proceeds support Ibu Movement, an organisation working towards financial stability for women creators.

Made in Pakistan from locally produced cotton, the cushion is 51 centimetres square with a concealed zip and feather-and-down pad. Dry cleaning is recommended. One colourway is available.
