Jaipur Fantaisie is a woven floral with scrolling leaves and a quilted, raised surface, designed by the Parisian designer Laura Gonzalez as an homage to the romance and ornament of Indian palaces. The medium-scale pattern has a certain fanciful ease, its motifs given depth and texture by the weave so that the cloth reads as both decorative and tactile.
Woven in Italy from viscose and polyamide, it is 138 centimetres wide with a vertical repeat of 43 centimetres and a horizontal repeat that runs nearly the full width. Dry washing is specified. Available in several colourways, it suits upholstery, curtains, blinds and cushions where a richly textured, patterned cloth is wanted.
