Janis Velvet sets a vermicelli pattern in cut pile against a flat jacquard ground, the traditional motif enlarged so it reads more boldly across upholstery and curtains. The pile catches light differently from the woven base, so the pattern shifts in tone as you move around the cloth.
Woven in Italy from polyester, viscose and cotton, it is 140 centimetres wide with repeats of 41 by 35 centimetres. Dry cleaning is recommended. It suits curtains, blinds, cushions and upholstery, and is available in five colourways.
