Jennie Velvet sets an irregular floral pattern into cut pile, the motifs loose and figurative in a manner that recalls Victorian decoration without copying it. The design has character and a certain domestic warmth, and the pile catches light unevenly across the flowers so the pattern shifts as you move around the room.
Woven in Belgium from viscose, cotton and polyester, it is 138 centimetres wide with a 36-centimetre vertical repeat and a 23-centimetre horizontal repeat. The velvet construction suits upholstery on chairs, sofas and ottomans as well as cushions, and dry cleaning is recommended. It is available in three colourways.
