Jokhang Tiger Velvet reinterprets the Tibetan tiger motif as a multi-dimensional stripe on cut velvet, the pile shifting in the light so the animal forms appear and recede depending on where you stand. Designed by Hartig, the pattern moves easily between formal and eclectic interiors, the velvet ground anchoring the graphic repeat.
Woven in Belgium, chiefly of viscose with cotton and polyester, it is 136 centimetres wide with a 56-centimetre vertical repeat and 69-centimetre horizontal repeat. Dry cleaning is recommended. The velvet construction suits cushions and upholstery, and the design is available in several colourways.
