Jolie Hand Embroidered Tape features a framed flower motif worked by hand on a linen ground, the embroidery adding texture and dimension without excessive decoration. The repeat is regular and the stitching legible, so the tape reads as handmade detail rather than applied ornament.
Made in India, it is composed of 90 per cent linen and 10 per cent spun polyester, measures 5 centimetres wide, and has a vertical repeat of 8 centimetres. Dry cleaning is recommended. It suits curtains, cushions and upholstery, applied where a hand-embroidered floral detail is appropriate.
