Schumacher | Kasai

Kasai is a printed geometric with an intentionally faded quality, as though the pattern has been worn by time and light. Hand-painted by Schumacher's design director, the design has an irregular, painterly edge that gives it character, and the softened colour reads as patina rather than newness. The large repeat suits rooms where the pattern can be seen whole.

Printed in the United States on pure linen, it is 137 centimetres wide with a 79-centimetre vertical repeat and a 69-centimetre horizontal. Dry cleaning is recommended. It works for curtains, blinds, cushions and upholstery, where the linen's natural texture complements the hand-painted quality of the print.
