Kata takes a Tibetan tiger pattern and abstracts it into a mid-scale, all-over design with tonal variation that suggests age and wear. The flat weave includes a little chenille for softness, and the pattern moves across the cloth without obvious direction, so it upholsters and curtains without fuss.
Woven in Italy from viscose, cotton, linen and a trace of polyester, it is 144 centimetres wide with a vertical repeat of 36 centimetres and a horizontal repeat of 46 centimetres. Dry cleaning is recommended. The fabric suits curtains, blinds, cushions and upholstery, and is offered in several colourways.
