Kennedy Damask was originally created by interior designer Mark D. Sikes for Blair House, the presidential guesthouse in Washington. It is a satin-weave damask with a large-scale floral pattern, the lustre of the weave bringing the motif forward against the ground. The vertical repeat of 73 centimetres and horizontal repeat of 47 centimetres give the design presence on substantial pieces.
Woven in Italy from 55 per cent polyester FR and 45 per cent Trevira CS at 140 centimetres wide, it suits curtains, blinds, cushions and upholstery in both residential and hospitality projects. Dry cleaning is recommended.
