Kerala Paisley is a wood-block print in which each teardrop motif is built from floral fragments and lace-like detail, the whole arranged in a half-drop repeat. The scale is small and charming, the pigment inks giving a soft, handmade quality that layers easily without dominating.
Printed in India on pure linen, it is 137 centimetres wide with a 17-centimetre repeat in both directions. Dry cleaning is recommended. The design suits upholstery, cushions, curtains and blinds, and is also made as a wallpaper.
