Kilim Weave is a jacquard with a geometric pattern inspired by traditional flatweave rugs, the motifs woven rather than printed so the design has depth and texture in the cloth itself. The repeat is 35 by 27 centimetres, large enough to read as architectural on upholstery or curtains, and the colour is woven into the structure rather than applied to the surface.
It is woven in Belgium from a blend of polyacrylic, wool, cotton, alpaca and polyamide, 136 centimetres wide. Dry cleaning is recommended. The cloth suits curtains, blinds, cushions and upholstery, where the woven construction and mixed fibres give it both substance and resilience for pieces in regular domestic use.
