Schumacher | Kinabalu Velvet

Kinabalu Velvet takes abstracted tiger motifs from antique Tibetan carpet designs and renders them in a dense, shimmering pile. The pattern works at a mid-scale, the stylised animal forms reading as texture from a distance and revealing their detail up close, the pile catching light across the surface.

Woven in India from 60 per cent viscose, 30 per cent cotton and 8 per cent polyester, it is 139 centimetres wide with a 35-centimetre vertical repeat and 34-centimetre horizontal repeat. Dry cleaning is recommended. The velvet suits curtains, blinds, cushions and upholstery, and is available in two colourways.
