Schumacher | Kirkmicha Jacquard Sheer

Kirkmicha Jacquard Sheer is an embroidered damask worked in cotton thread onto a sheer cotton ground, so the pattern reads as much through shadow and relief as through the thread itself. The motif is traditional in spirit but light in execution, and the open weave allows the design to layer over views or other fabrics without closing down a room.

Made in Scotland from 100% cotton, it is 171 centimetres wide with a vertical repeat of 102 centimetres and a horizontal repeat of 57 centimetres. Dry cleaning is recommended. It suits curtains, blinds and sheer drapery where a degree of transparency is wanted, and the embroidered surface gives body and interest to what might otherwise be plain voile.
