Schumacher | Kumo

Kumo takes its cue from antique silvered mirror glass, layering the soft, fibrous texture of Japanese rice paper over a metallic ground. The effect is at once ethereal and quietly reflective, the surface catching light without glare, reading almost cloud-like—kumo means cloud in Japanese—across a wall.

Printed in South Korea, the paper is 91 centimetres wide and sold by the metre from rolls of 7.312 metres. It should be vacuumed only, using a soft brush attachment, and suits feature walls and full rooms where a gentle, textural backdrop is wanted.
