Schumacher | Kuzma

Kuzma is a kilim-style flatweave that reinterprets an antique rug in cloth form, its sharp geometrics softened by the rustic irregularity that comes from pairing a thin warp with a thick, chunky weft. The result is a heavy cloth with unexpected drape, the weave loose enough to move but substantial enough to upholster with confidence.

Woven in Italy from 45 per cent cotton, 25 per cent polyester, 20 per cent viscose and 10 per cent linen, it is 140 centimetres wide with a vertical and horizontal repeat of 69 centimetres. Ironing is recommended. It suits upholstery, curtains, blinds and cushions.
