Schumacher | Kyousha Silk

Kyousha Silk is a satin-ground jacquard woven entirely from silk, the pattern emerging through changes in the weave rather than applied colour. The floral motif has a quiet botanical formality, and the cloth's natural lustre shifts across the surface as light moves over it.

Woven in India, it is 137 centimetres wide with a 21-centimetre vertical repeat and 34-centimetre horizontal repeat. Dry cleaning is recommended. The fabric suits curtains, blinds, cushions and upholstery.
