Schumacher | L’attesa Nella Notte

L'Attesa Nella Notte—'Waiting in the Night'—was created in collaboration with Italian artist Andrea Collesano and has the delicacy of a pen-and-ink drawing. Owls and skulls nestle among stylised leafless trees against a mottled ground, the large-scale composition unfolding into a dreamlike, slightly gothic scene that reads as both enchanting and quietly unsettling.
