Schumacher | La Libellule Silk

La Libellule Silk is a mid-scale dragonfly design printed onto a silk ground, where the natural slubs and tonal variations of the material become part of the pattern's character. The design reads with a delicate formality, the insects rendered in a way that suggests movement without fuss, and the silk's lustre shifts with the light to give the wall a quiet animation.

Printed in Belgium, the paper is 120 centimetres wide with a 45-centimetre vertical repeat and a 30-centimetre horizontal repeat, sold by the metre from rolls of 10.054 metres. It is spongeable and suited to walls where a balance of pattern and texture is wanted.
