Schumacher | La Marea

La Marea is a large, undulating horizontal stripe screen-printed by hand onto linen. The stripe moves across the cloth in broad, irregular waves, so it has both presence and a sense of movement — the hand-printing gives each length a slightly different character.

Made in Ireland, it is 137 centimetres wide with a 67-centimetre vertical repeat and a 137-centimetre horizontal repeat, the latter running the full width of the cloth. Dry cleaning is recommended. The design suits curtains, blinds, cushions and upholstery, and is available in two colourways.
