Lady Lilith takes its trumpet-shaped lilies from a nineteenth-century Dutch illuminated calendar, redrawn and hand-painted in Backdrop's Los Angeles studio so the design retains the textural character of the original. The pattern is medium in scale, soft yet graphic, and lends rhythm to a wall without overwhelming it.
Printed in the United States, it is 69 centimetres wide with a 69-centimetre vertical repeat and a 34-centimetre horizontal repeat. Sold by the metre from 9.14-metre rolls, the paper is spongeable and suits both feature walls and full rooms. It is available in three colourways.
