Laksha is a small-scale floral lattice inspired by a 1920s German block print in the Schumacher archives, its pattern charming and versatile enough to work in rooms where a quieter repeat is needed. The printing is skilfully done to mimic the subtle tonal shifts and delicate character of a handmade block print, so it has a warmth and irregularity that feels human rather than mechanical.
Made in the United States, it is 69 centimetres wide with a vertical repeat of 32 centimetres and a horizontal repeat of 23 centimetres, and comes in three colourways. Each roll is 4.113 metres long and the paper is washable, making it practical for most domestic walls. The design is also available as a fabric.
