Large Rope reinterprets a lattice as a nautical rope grid, the cords crossing and interlacing at a large scale so the pattern acquires a graphic, almost architectural presence on the wall. Screen-printed by hand, it is a Tillett design with a coastal character, the rope motif lending a casual, maritime informality to the geometry.
It is printed in the United States, 53 centimetres wide, with a vertical repeat of 76 centimetres and a horizontal repeat of 27 centimetres. Sold by the metre, each roll is 8.226 metres long. It is a wallcovering, spongeable for cleaning, and is available in several colourways.
