Lazare Appliqué is built by folding grosgrain ribbon into zigzag bands and stitching them onto a linen-blend ground, creating a three-dimensional stripe that stands proud of the cloth. The technique gives the fabric a sculptural quality, with the raised ribbon catching light and casting small shadows that shift through the day.
Made in India from eighty per cent linen and twenty per cent spun polyester, it is 132 centimetres wide with a vertical repeat of five centimetres and a horizontal repeat of fifteen. Dry cleaning is recommended. The appliqué construction suits light upholstery, cushions, curtains and blinds, and the design is also available as a trim.
