Schumacher | Le Faisan Chinoiserie

Le Faisan Chinoiserie is a scenic print of pheasants, foliage and architectural fragments arranged in the manner of 18th-century chinoiserie, printed onto a jacquard-woven cotton ground. The repeat is large—78 centimetres vertically, 69 horizontally—so the composition unfolds across wider pieces of furniture or larger cushions, where the detail can be read properly.

Printed in France on cotton, it is 137 centimetres wide. Dry cleaning is recommended. It suits cushions and upholstery, bringing a narrative, decorative quality to chairs, sofas and ottomans where a single panel of the design can be centred or allowed to run.
