Le Jardin is a small-scale stylised floral developed with Paris-based artist Caroline Rennequin, printed to capture the colour and character of the original hand-painted artwork. The pattern has an imaginative, almost naïve quality, its blooms and foliage arranged in a square repeat that reads as an all-over scatter.
Printed in the United Kingdom on a jacquard-woven ground of linen, cotton and nylon—51, 37 and 12 per cent respectively—the cloth is 137 centimetres wide with a 46-centimetre repeat in both directions. Dry cleaning is recommended. It suits curtains, blinds, cushions and upholstery, and the design is also available as wallpaper.
