Schumacher | Legrad Argyle

Legrad Argyle is a sateen-woven argyle with a calendered finish that gives the cloth a smooth, polished surface and a restrained sheen. The pattern is geometric but not stark, the diagonal grid softened by the lustre of the weave, and the blend of fibres—polyester, cotton, polyamide and silk—adds both resilience and a slight hand. The repeat is compact at 10 centimetres in both directions, so the argyle reads as an all-over texture rather than a bold statement.

Woven in Italy, it is 144 centimetres wide and should be dry cleaned. It is intended for cushions and upholstery, the sateen construction and fibre mix making it durable enough for seating in regular domestic use.
