Leland Stripe is a sheer casement cloth in which multicoloured dashes run across a cotton-linen ground, bringing texture and movement to what might otherwise be a plain weave. The dashes read as broken horizontal lines, energetic rather than orderly, and the natural fibre base keeps the effect grounded and soft.
Woven in Turkey from a blend of viscose, cotton, linen, polyester and a trace of polyacrylic, it is an unusually wide 295 centimetres, with a vertical repeat of 94 centimetres and a horizontal repeat of 37 centimetres. Dry cleaning is recommended. It suits curtains, blinds, cushions and upholstery, and works as a voile or sheer where a little more substance is wanted.
