Les Fougères is an all-over botanical print of leafy ferns, drawn from a hand-blocked cotton in the Schumacher archive dating to the Elsie de Wolfe era. The design has the relaxed, naturalistic quality of early twentieth-century decoration, with a generous repeat that allows the fronds to be seen in full.
Printed in the United Kingdom on 100 per cent linen, it is 137 centimetres wide with a 64-centimetre vertical repeat and a 46-centimetre horizontal repeat. Dry cleaning is recommended. The cloth suits curtains, blinds, cushions and upholstery, and is available in three colourways.
