Schumacher | Llama Embroidery

Llama Embroidery depicts saddled llamas worked in curly bouclé yarn onto a chevron linen ground, each animal given texture and dimension by the looped embroidery thread. The design has a naive, folkloric quality, and the mid-scale repeat of 80 by 66 centimetres means the llamas read as individual figures rather than an all-over pattern.

It is embroidered in India on 100 per cent linen, 133 centimetres wide. Dry cleaning is recommended. The cloth suits cushions, curtains and blinds, and can be used for upholstery where a lighter, more decorative approach is wanted. It belongs to Schumacher's Uncommon Threads collection.
