Schumacher | Lobster Embroidery

Lobster Embroidery sets tiny crustaceans in neat rows across a plain cotton ground, each one worked in satin stitch so the thread catches the light. The effect is gently humorous without tipping into kitsch, a seaside motif rendered with enough restraint to sit comfortably in a drawing room as well as a coastal cottage.

Made in India and embroidered entirely in cotton, the cloth is 146 centimetres wide with a 13‑centimetre vertical repeat and 22‑centimetre horizontal repeat. Dry cleaning is recommended. It suits curtains, blinds, cushions and upholstery, and is offered in two colourways.
