Schumacher | Loire Jute Stripe

Loire Jute Stripe is a woven stripe in which jute and cotton are combined to produce a cloth with natural variation and a slightly irregular hand. The stripe itself is straightforward, but the jute lends the fabric an organic, unpolished character that sits comfortably in relaxed interiors, and the weave has enough body to hold its shape without stiffness.

Woven in India from 70 per cent jute and 30 per cent cotton, it is 135 centimetres wide with a 12‑centimetre horizontal repeat. Dry cleaning is recommended. The cloth suits curtains, blinds, cushions and upholstery, and subtle variations in the weave are part of its natural character.
