Schumacher | Lorikeet Embroidery

Lorikeet Embroidery is a small-scale abstract feather motif stitched in multicolour cotton yarns across a viscose ground, the dense allover pattern creating movement and texture with a slight iridescence and subtle shimmer as light catches the stitching. The design reads as a fine, animated surface rather than a literal motif.

Embroidered in India from thirty-five per cent cotton, fifty-one per cent viscose and fourteen per cent polyester, it is 127 centimetres wide with a four-centimetre vertical repeat and eleven-centimetre horizontal repeat. Dry cleaning is recommended. It suits upholstery, cushions, curtains and blinds.
