Lotus Batik takes its painterly motifs and mottled, tonal effects from a vintage Japanese batik, the pattern printed onto linen so that the cloth retains a natural, slightly irregular surface. The design reads as both graphic and soft, the batik technique giving it a hand-drawn quality rather than the crispness of a digital print.
Printed in Italy on 100% linen, it is 140 centimetres wide with a vertical repeat of 62 centimetres and a horizontal repeat of 66 centimetres. Dry cleaning is recommended. It suits upholstery, cushions, curtains and blinds.
