Schumacher | Loulou Pillow

Loulou is an abstract design inspired by the flame-stitch rhythm of bargello tapestries, its zigzag movement woven rather than printed so that different weave structures create shifts in texture and light across the surface. The opal colourway is pale and quietly tonal, the pattern emerging through texture as much as colour.

Woven in Italy from cotton with polyester and acrylic, the cushion measures 46 centimetres square and is trimmed with Gustave Silk Lip Cord—a welt of cotton, silk, polyester and nylon. It is filled with feather and down, has a concealed zip and should be dry-cleaned. The jacquard construction and soft fill suit it to upholstered seating and beds.
