Lubeck Tape is a striped ribbon woven from hand-dyed cotton yarns, its irregular colour transitions and textured surface giving it the loose, artisanal character of cloth made on a handloom. The rustic quality comes from the dyeing and weaving process rather than mechanical precision, so each length carries subtle variation. At ten centimetres wide the stripe reads clearly when applied to furniture or along curtain edges.
Made in India entirely of cotton, it is woven as a jacquard and ten centimetres wide with a matching horizontal repeat. Dry cleaning is recommended. It suits upholstery as an applied band, curtain borders and cushion edges, and works alongside the coordinating Lubeck Stripe fabric. The tape is available in six colourways.
