Schumacher | Lupita Embroidery

Lupita Embroidery is inspired by Mexican folk embroidery, with flowers and animals stitched in different techniques across a large-scale repeat. Each motif has its own texture and character, so the cloth reads as a collection of small narratives rather than a single pattern, and the embroidery gives it a tactile, handmade quality.

Embroidered in India on a ground of linen, cotton and polyester, it is 130 centimetres wide with an 80-centimetre vertical repeat and a 65-centimetre horizontal repeat. Dry cleaning is recommended. It suits cushions and upholstery.
