Schumacher | Macaroni

Macaroni is a narrow stripe embroidered in satin stitch, the pattern built from diamonds and squares that march across a soft cotton ground. The small scale and rhythmic geometry give it a playful, almost naïve character, the hand-stitched quality adding texture without weight.

Made in India, chiefly of cotton with viscose rayon, it is 130 centimetres wide with a 3-centimetre vertical repeat and 6-centimetre horizontal repeat. Dry cleaning is recommended. It suits curtains, blinds, cushions and upholstery.
