Schumacher | Madame de Pixel Panel Set

Madame de Pixel is a contemporary abstraction of Schumacher's Madame de Pompadour wallpaper, reimagined by David Kaihoi as a pixelated mural. Each five-inch square was painted by hand, so the design reads as a mosaic of colour blocks that form a larger composition across the two panels, playful and graphic in equal measure.

Made in the United States, the set comprises two panels, each 137 centimetres wide and 3.656 metres long. The vertical repeat is 366 centimetres and the horizontal 274 centimetres, so the design is intended to be hung as a complete mural rather than a repeating wallcovering. It is spongeable and suited to feature walls where the full composition can be appreciated.
