Madeleine is a small-scale leopard spot printed onto a velvet ground, the soft pile and reduced scale making it versatile enough to sit alongside other patterns or hold its own. Named for the French decorator Madeleine Castaing, who famously favoured leopard print, the design has a quiet confidence rather than drama.
Made in Italy from cotton, acrylic and polyester, the velvet is printed and finished with a welted edge in Gustave Silk Lip Cord Narrow, a blend of cotton, silk, polyester and nylon. The cushion is 51 centimetres square, filled with feather and down, and closed with a concealed zip. Dry cleaning is recommended. It is available in several colourways.
