Madeleine Velvet is named after Madeleine Castaing, the French decorator known for her fondness for leopard prints. This version has a small-scale spot printed onto a soft velvet pile, giving it a versatility that allows it to sit comfortably in both traditional and more contemporary rooms. The pattern reads as texture rather than statement.
Printed in Italy onto a velvet of 47 per cent cotton, 38 per cent acrylic and 15 per cent polyester, the cloth is 144 centimetres wide with a 43-centimetre vertical repeat and 10-centimetre horizontal repeat. It is offered in nine colourways, should be dry-cleaned, and suits curtains, blinds, cushions and upholstery.
