Schumacher | Madras Arabesque Sheer

Madras Arabesque Sheer is an embroidered cotton voile in which a flowing arabesque motif unfolds across the cloth at a generous scale, the botanical forms open and rhythmic. The embroidery sits on a sheer ground, so the pattern reads as much in silhouette as in thread, shifting with the light and the view beyond.

Woven in Scotland from pure cotton, it is 174 centimetres wide with a vertical repeat of 50 centimetres and a horizontal repeat of 58 centimetres. Dry cleaning is recommended. It suits curtains and blinds where a sheer layer is wanted with decorative presence.
