Magical Menagerie is a painterly study of flora and fauna printed on linen, drawn from an early twentieth-century archive. Birds, blossoms and foliage are composed with the loose, decorative confidence of that period, the design reading as a continuous scene rather than a rigid repeat. The scale is generous, so the imagery unfolds across curtains or larger upholstered pieces.
Printed in Thailand on pure linen, it is 137 centimetres wide with a 61-centimetre vertical repeat and a 137-centimetre horizontal repeat. Dry cleaning is recommended. It suits curtains, blinds, cushions and upholstery, and is available in a number of colourways.
