Mahdavi Stripe is a botanical stripe inspired by traditional Indian motifs, the pattern detailed enough to hold interest without overwhelming a room. The printing is done in a way that mimics the subtle shifts in tone and delicate character of a handmade block print, so the stripe feels less mechanical than most.
It is printed in the United States, 69 centimetres wide with a 43-centimetre vertical repeat and a 23-centimetre horizontal repeat. Rolls are 9.14 metres long and sold by the metre. The paper should be spot-cleaned and is suited to walls. It is also available as a fabric and comes in three colourways.
