Majorelle Velvet takes its pattern from the exotic sets and costumes Leon Bakst designed for Diaghilev's Ballet Russes, a richly coloured floral printed onto velvet so the pile softens the edges and deepens the saturation. The design also exists as a wallpaper, allowing the pattern to move between surfaces.
Printed in the United Kingdom on cotton with polyester, it is 131 centimetres wide with a 75-centimetre vertical repeat and 65-centimetre horizontal repeat. The velvet suits upholstery and cushions as well as curtains and blinds, and is available in three colourways.
