Schumacher | Margaret Ruth

Margaret Ruth is a mid-scale floral print on glazed cotton, designed by Johnson Hartig of Libertine after an antique fabric. Roses cluster across a striped ground with birds scattered through the composition, the glaze giving the cotton a crisp, polished surface that sharpens the pattern.

Printed in the United Kingdom on 100 per cent cotton, it is 137 centimetres wide with a 32-centimetre vertical repeat. Dry cleaning is recommended. It suits curtains, blinds, upholstery and cushions, and the print adapts well to wall upholstery where the mid-scale repeat reads clearly.
