Marguerite Embroidery Pillow is an irregular hand-stitched floral worked in wool on a linen ground, the stitches deliberately uneven so the design has a modest, domestic character rather than precision. The slight irregularities in the yarn create texture and a sense of something made rather than manufactured. The pillow has a knife-edge finish.
Made in India, the cover is 65 per cent linen, 30 per cent wool and 5 per cent polyamide, measuring 51 centimetres square. The reverse is in Langham High Performance Union. It includes a feather and down fill insert and a hidden zip closure. Dry cleaning is recommended. The design is available in four colourways.
